Complexity

Thank you – for the complexity of life. A few months ago, I saw a quote that said something to the effect of, “it is the diversions from the path that make life worthwhile” and it made me start to cry… right there in the mall….so, of course, I had to buzz away from that store quickly…

It made me cry because while I knew it to be true, right there in that moment, I was not ready to accept that I was diverting from the path I’ve been on… still not 100% accepting of myself in that regard… but thankful for the complexities of life that, without a doubt, add to its richness.

Thanks for continually being a really good neighbor – letting us try out your snowblower and hedgetrimmer, when we would never even think to ask…telling us when we do stupid things like leave the garage door open or leave a dome light on in a car… It’s neighbors like you that make a group of houses a neighborhood… even in ‘the burbs’ Thank you!
